Facilities & Access

Our reception is also the local visitor information centre. You’ll find it’s well stocked with literature and information on other nearby places of interest, things to do, itineraries and accommodation options.

  • There is no parking available on-site for visitors (apart from for those loading and unloading equipment etc.); visitors must use the town centre car parks.  The site is fully accessible, with several spaces available for Blue Badge holders.
  • There is a drop-off area at the front entrance. Both the front and back entrances are wide and have motion sensor automatic doors.
  • Reception is located on the ground floor and has a lowered counter area, with a hearing loop system.
  • A lift offers access to all floors. Accessible toilets are located on the Upper Ground, First Floor and Second Floor of Ranfurly House.
  • All of our outdoor areas are fully accessible. Due to the sloping nature of the site, ramps provide access to the raised areas on top of Hill of The O’Neill, and also down into the garden areas.
  • The Viewing Tower also contains an accessible toilet. A lift provides access to the elevated glass surrounded viewing platform.

Picnic Area: Fancy dining al fresco? We have a Picnic Area on Hill of The O’Neill where you can enjoy your meal – and enjoy a spectacular view as well!

Toilet Facilities: Signage will direct you to the public toilets in the reception area. Baby-changing facilities are available at this location.

Toilets are available on every floor in Ranfurly House as well as on the Ground Floor of the Viewing Tower.
