Facilities & Access

Our Reception is also the local visitor information centre. You’ll find it’s well stocked with literature and information on other nearby places of interest, things to do, itineraries plus and accommodation options.

  • Our entire site is fully accessible, with a number of parking spaces available for Blue Badge holders.
  • There is a drop-off area at the front entrance, and both the front and back entrances are wide and have motion sensor automatic doors.
  • Reception is located on the ground floor and has a lowered counter area, with a hearing loop system.
  • A lift offers access to all upper floors. Accessible toilets are located on the Upper Ground, First Floor and Second Floor of Ranfurly House.
  • All of our outdoor areas are fully accessible. Due to the sloping nature of the site, ramps provide access to the raised areas on top of The Hill, and also down into the garden areas.
  • The Viewing Tower also contains an accessible toilet, while a lift provides access to the elevated glass surrounded viewing platform.

Coffee Shop: The Caffè Latte coffee shop is our on-site café offering a range of tea, coffees, cold drinks, as well as snacks, treats and tempting lunch items. All freshly made every day.

Picnic Area: Fancy dining al fresco? We have a Picnic Area on The Hill where you can enjoy your meal – and enjoy a spectacular view as well!

Toilet Facilities: Signage will direct you to the public toilets in the Reception area. Baby-changing facilities are available at this location.

Toilets are also available on every floor in Ranfurly House as well as in the Viewing Tower on The Hill – on the Ground Floor of the Viewing Tower.
