We are delighted to welcome local artist Aideen Mockford to the exhibition area in Hill of the O’Neill & Ranfurly House for the month of November.
Aideen will be showcasing her art for FREE from Tuesday 2 to Friday 26 November 2021. You can visit it by entering the main entrance to Hill of the O’Neill & Ranfurly House, and reception staff can advise.
Aideen’s words:
A wife, mother of three lovely humans and freelance artist.
Whilst self educated, for the most part, I’ve been lucky enough to have undertaken numerous courses in acrylics, portraiture in pastel and charcoal drawing with the renowned artist Angela Hackett MA.
I work primarily in acrylic with an emphasis on the natural world and have recently been working in cold wax with oil paint. My pieces vary in size and style, depending on the subject and how it inspires. I tend to follow a realistic, detailed piece with a much more abstract one, each yielding its own rewards.
You can find Aideen on Instagram and fb @aideenmockfordartist.
